Battledoor Badminton
Established in 2017 in Trivandrum, Battledoor Badminton Coaching Academy has emerged as Kerala’s top-ranked and one of India’s top 10 badminton facilities. Led by Head Coach Shobal Nelson, the academy operates across five centres in Thiruvananthapuram, providing elite mentorship from BWF, BAI, and NIS certified coaches for over 210 athletes ranging from grassroots level (under-6) to international professionals, including para-badminton players.
The academy’s world-class infrastructure includes premium wooden and synthetic courts, an international-standard gym, stadium tracks, and a swimming pool for hydrotherapy. Beyond technical training, Battledoor adopts a holistic approach to athlete development by integrating physiotherapy, sports psychology, and specialized nutrition within its residential campus.
